Unlike other directors and producers in Nollywood industry who take advantages of their positions and exposure against young actresses, Gbolahan Adetayo by all standard and ramifications stands for integrity and self respect.
The multi-talented Journalist, who is also an actor, producer and publisher of Yorubamogiegist.com has opened up on the alleged romance between him and an upcoming actress Kiitan.
Following the trend on social media platforms with the pictures from a scene of a movie and alleged romance, Gbolahan felt displeased about it and spoke in an interview with Vanguard reporter; “She is a friend and a colleague in the industry, I have seen her just twice in my entire life, the first was at popular comic actor, Ijebu’s father’s burial in Ilishan Remo, and secondly at my movie location where my director Okiki Afolayan invited her to take a role and we were to act together. The two characters acted a sexual role and that’s all.”

It is not news and not surprising to see people who take delight in spreading fake news on social media, After displaying the character of a womanizer in the movie by Gbolahan Adetayo, the news and picture went viral on social media that both are in hot romance. However, the actor Gbolahan could not hold back but spoke further by saying.
“Hot romance ko, chilled affair ni, I owe no one explanation on how to live my life, I am a professional in what I do and I can interpret any script as a professional actor, I have nothing with the said actress”.
Journalism is a wide field, as well as the Nollywood industry, representing the two industries, is what makes Gbolahan Adetayo an outstanding and unique personnel in entertainment world and media forum, his passion is in the Nollywood industry while journalism pays his bills.
The actor advises all his fans to stay safe in this Coronavirus time and never to give up on their dreams. He said ” if I’m opportune to have a lead role with top international actors abroad in this Coronavirus time, I will go, it is not about the money but about what makes me happy and fulfilled. I am not scared, I believe everyone will die someday and if it’s not your time to die by Coronavirus you will remain standing like Olumo Rock”.
