I hold you in high regard, Dele, David’s cousin, praises the singer’s father.

Bamidele Adeleke, a cousin of Davido, a popular Nigerian singer, wished the singer’s father a happy birthday on Sunday.

Dele posted a photo of his uncle, Adedeji Adeleke, on his Instagram page, saying that despite their differences, he still admired Davido’s father.

Dele also prayed for the birthday boy in his post, asking God to grant him grace.

“I celebrate you today and pray to the Lord for the grace to maintain the greatness He has bestowed upon you,” he wrote.

“I can’t help but hold you in high regard and honour, happy birthday, dear Uncle, Dr Deji Adeleke, despite our differences.”
