The Chairman of the Nasarawa State Local Government Area, Safiyanu Isa Andaha, has been abducted by a group of armed individuals.
Police officials reported that the victim and a local resident were taken away on the evening of New Year’s Day at Ningo village along Andaha-Akwanga Road.
As per Ramhan Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer, the kidnappers’ trail has been quickly initiated by security professionals from various agencies and the police in order to guarantee the victims’ release.
