Epe Ogunmodede Club, a Lagos social club, has urged the lawmakers who represent Epe Local Government to use their positions well and meritoriously represent the people.
Omodele Ibrahim, the club’s president, made the request in a recent statement to the elected officials on behalf of the social club.
Ibrahim urged them to use the political mandate granted to them by the residents of Epe Constituency I, Lagos Mainland II, and Lagos East Senatorial District to change lives and improve their districts and constituencies.
“They have been chosen by their supporters to stand up for them and provide them with excellent, diligent, and honest representation. They have been given a free political mandate that carries a heavy burden of accountability. They must not treat this mandate as a given or misuse it for their own gain. They must use it to improve people’s lives and benefit their districts and constituencies.

“They must act in accordance with their party’s guiding principles and values, which are justice, equity, progress, and unity. They must support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, our leader, who has made significant sacrifices for the advancement of Lagos State and Nigeria, he said.
Ibrahim emphasised the value of open communication, responsibility, and compassion while urging lawmakers to actively hear the concerns of their constituents and take action to address them.
