The Labour Party, LP, has threatened to organize protests across Nigeria because it believes that the opposition in the states of Abia and Enugu is tampering with election results.
This was announced in a statement released on Sunday and signed by Julius Abure, the party’s national chairman.
According to Abure, some Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) employees were held hostage at Obingwa LGA by PDP supporters in Abia state.
The PDP in Enugu was charged by the Labour Party with tampering with the results of the governorship election.

“The Labour Party had carefully examined all violations, and we have vowed never once more to allow the usurpation of power through deceitful means as it was done in the past and merely demand that you go to court.
“If this is not addressed, we will be left with no choice but to mobilize Obidients all over the country to take over the streets across the length and breadth of the country,” the statement said in part.
