Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has congratulated Sunny Echono, the new Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFUND, on President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointment.
The Governor also thanked President Buhari for appointing a Benue son to the position in his congratulatory message.

Echono was the former Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja, who retired after a distinguished career in the service of the country.
Governor Ortom expressed his delight that Echono’s outstanding performance as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education had earned him recognition and a promotion.
“I am ecstatic to be given this well-deserved honor.” Arch Echono is a distinguished citizen of Nigeria and a good ambassador for Benue State. His diligence and extensive experience in the management of human and material resources will be a valuable asset in his new position, according to Ortom.
He urged Echono to maintain his administrative and professional excellence, as well as his high moral and ethical standards, which had led him this far.

He reminded the new TETFund boss that the nation is his constituency, and that when making decisions, he should consider the diversity and interests of all Nigerians.
