During Saturday’s election for governor, the Peoples Democratic Party, an opposition party, soundly defeated the All Progressives Congress in one of the polling units located in the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna.
Isa Ashiru Kudan, the candidate for the main opposition party, received 77 votes to win polling unit 014, while Uba Sani, the candidate for the APC, received 40 votes.
The Presiding Officer, Mohammed Baso, who made the announcement stated that the Labour Party received 0 votes, the PRP received 1, the NNPP received 1, and there were 7 invalid votes recorded.
