Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has declared his intention to run for governor in 2023.
Jubrin Danbarde, who wanted to run against Yahaya under the APC, switched to the PDP for a better chance.
In an address at the All Progressives Congress Square Gombe, Yahaya assured his followers that he is ready to contest the election.

“Given the enormous support I currently have from the people of Jekadafari and the state, I am confident to confront anyone chooses to run for governor,” he added.
But Yahaya guaranteed the residents of Jekadafari and the state of further democratic benefits.
