Ganduje gives N1.6 million to families of 16 killed in road crash

Kano Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on Saturday visited Households of the 16 Individuals who Perished in an accident Across the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.

Mba stated nine passengers died on the place, while others, who continued various degrees of harm, were hurried to St. Gerald’s Hospital, Kakuri. But, seven of those wounded afterwards died, bringing the total of this deceased to 16.

Families of the deceased accumulated in Dambatta upon hearing the governor had been paying a visit to condole together.

An announcement by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar, said that the Senate gave N1.6 million into the bereaved.

“Families of the deceased men got N100,000 each,” the announcement said.

“After we’ve got the sad news of this accident between 16 individuals from the Dambatta Local Government Area and the other one by the Kura Local Government Area we had been shocked by the catastrophe.

“However, I want to remind you all that the catastrophe was out of the Almighty Allah. What’s left to us all to do would be to keep on praying to them,” the governor stated.

“We’re heartbroken over the catastrophe; we are nevertheless glad the Senate is here together with his cabinet members and party leaders and leaders to mourn with us,” Muhammad said.
