Fubara Calls for National Unity and Support for Tinubu in Easter Message

During his Easter address, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara urged unity and healing during the holy season of Easter, once again expressing his commitment to provide democracy and good government to the state’s citizens.
In a statement released in Port Harcourt on Saturday, Governor Fubara emphasized that Easter offers a special chance for healing, forgiveness, and reaffirmation of common ideals of harmony and peace.
The governor wished the people of Rivers State a happy Easter in his personally signed statement, “Renewed By The Resurrection: Advancing Peace, Unity and Good Governance.”

Easter is an important time for reaffirming common values and beliefs, fostering solidarity, and fostering reconciliation, he emphasized.
I extend my warmest greetings and sincere congratulations to you as we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, this Easter.

The holy time of year for peace and harmony is Easter. It’s a season when the peace of Christ fills our hearts to overflowing, mending broken hearts, feeding the hungry, consoling the afflicted, and reestablishing ties,” Fubara wrote.

In his remarks, the governor emphasized that Easter serves as a reminder of hope, saying, “It is a time to reaffirm our shared belief that peace shall overcome war, and that even shattered dreams can find new life in the light of the resurrection.”

Emphasizing that the people of Rivers State are resilient and worthy of leadership that puts their needs first, Fubara reaffirmed his commitment to providing excellent government in his speech.

We are reminded throughout this season that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love in Christ, not even death or tragedy. We continue to triumph in Him,” the governor declared.

With the words, “I reiterate my unwavering commitment to deliver good governance to the resilient and dignified people of Rivers State,” he further reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing governance in the state.

In favor of President Tinubu’s plans
Using the occasion, Governor Fubara also urged Rivers State residents to embrace President Bola Tinubu and support the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.

He urged the wonderful citizens of Rivers State to keep up their support and alignment with our beloved President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and to look forward to a better future.

Fubara underlined the significance of unity and group power in accomplishing the intended change for the country and the state.

It is important that we remember our combined strength. When we behave as a single people under God, dedicated to peace, unity, and advancement, we may achieve the change we all seek,” he said.
