An unidentified officer from the Lagos State command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has been reported injured after reportedly being shot by a security guard wearing a police uniform.
The event occurred during an enforcement operation to identify phony license plates, which was part of a bigger project initiated by the FRSC under the Lagos Sector Command, according to information gathered.

According to reports, Kehinde Hamzat, the Corps Commander responsible for managing the operation, had not provided any details on the incident at the time this report was submitted.
However, he asked media to be patient while he investigates the specifics of this unfortunate situation.
As of this time, Lagos police authorities have not commented on the matter, and it is still unclear which security officers are affiliated with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
