Ten thousand students around Enugu State are now able to register for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) at no cost because to the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA).
Belusochukwu Enwere, the National Coordinator for SERHA, stated during the program’s introduction yesterday that the program’s goal is to eliminate financial obstacles that keep talented students from pursuing higher education by paying for 10,000 eligible applicants’ JAMB registration.
According to Enwere, the program is in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which places a high priority on inclusive national development, education reform, and youth empowerment.
According to Enwere, the intervention aims to empower the next generation to contribute to the growth and development of the state and the nation, as well as to invest in the future and support exam registration.
“This program is about strategic empowerment, not charity. Our economy is secured when we educate our young people. Our nation is strengthened when we empower our students.
He referred to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as part of larger initiatives to increase access to higher education and emphasized federal education sector changes, such as initiatives to stabilize relations with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Enwere urged parents and guardians to keep supporting their children’s academic endeavors and urged the pupils to prepare well and take advantage of the chance.
