This latest development was confirmed by the commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, who stated that Obi Cubana was allowed to leave after the commission finished questioning him.

This also comes after several reports that he was released a few days ago; however, the commission came out to refute these reports and explain why Cubana was still in custody.

Obi Cubana was in the news prior to his arrest because of the lavish funeral he organized for his mother.
