Since his principal assumed office in May 2015, Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina has been downplaying the severity of Nigeria’s security crisis for nearly seven years. On Friday, he finally admitted that Nigeria is at war.
In an article titled “They Hate God, They Loathe Humanity,” Adesina called the terrorist attack on hundreds of passengers on an Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday a “carnage” and a “premeditated murder from the depths of hell.”
“Whoever or whatever they are, terrorists or bandits, it makes no difference,” he said. They have sown evil and will reap it. They have no right to live. Neither in this nor the next world. They must be delivered to their master, the Devil, as soon as possible.”

Terrorist attacks on trains, according to Adesina, are affecting the country’s “rail revolution,” and insurgents despise any form of progress or development.
He said that even though his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), won’t be able to carry weapons to fight the marauders like he did when he was younger, he had ordered the Service Chiefs and the Inspector General of Police to “wipe out these evil people.” Assassinate them. “Get rid of them.”
The presidential aide also blamed Nigerians for the country’s insecurity, claiming that they spread evil by making negative comments.
“Some Nigerians’ role in perpetuating anomie in the country is concerning. Through the use of their tongues. They say horrible things about the country and are completely negative about it, believing that they are speaking out against the current government. Bishops, pastors, imams, commentators, talk show hosts, and others fall into this category. They’re fighting a tongue war with Nigeria. They are completely unaware that the more they say it, the more evil occurs. The cup overflows as it fills.
“Let’s switch our words. Change our minds about our homeland. The mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart. Let us start blessing our country rather than cursing it and sowing negativity in people’s minds.”
“No matter what some activists say, those who inflict evil on society do not deserve to live.” They should be sent to hell, and I join President Obama in pleading with our security agencies to eliminate them. Assassinate them. Remove them from the equation. They’ve declared war on the country and its inhabitants. We are at war, no doubt about it. They have no right to live. They’ve lost touch with their humanity. Delete them. He admitted, “Kill. Eliminate.”
