John Francis is the newly appointed Controller of Corrections Federal Capital Territory Command, having been appointed by Haliru Nababa, the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
In charge of Training and Staff Development, Ibrahim Idris was recently upgraded to the rank of Assistant Controller General of Corrections. Francis will take over for him, according to a statement signed on Friday by Adamu Duza, the spokesperson for the FCT Command.
As she said, “I can only say I am successful if my successor succeeds,” Idris thanked the FCT Command staff for their assistance.
He was optimistic that the new controller would be able to advance FCT Command.
The ACG’s record in leadership was praised by Francis, who also asked for his continued collaboration.
Prior to his most recent tour, Francis served as the National Chaplain-Protestant NCoS Headquarters, Abuja.
