Hon. Esosa Iyawe, who spoke at the ceremony, emphasized the importance of sports in developing disciplined, focused, and responsible young people and promised to continue supporting them. “It is our shared duty to give our youth the opportunities they need to succeed because they will be tomorrow’s leaders. One such medium that not only brings us together but also encourages our young people to have big dreams and succeed is sports,” he said.
Hon. Iyawe also urged all well-meaning Nigerians to support programs that promote growth and development and to work together to empower the youth. He underlined that in order to provide a better future for the coming generation, teamwork is essential.
