Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen claims that Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, can do more with the Red Devils squad than he can with his current squad.
This was said by Owen in response to reports linking Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino with a move to Manchester United.
Since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last weekend, Pochettino has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United.
The Argentine is widely regarded as a strong contender to succeed Solskjaer as permanent manager, but his PSG contract expires in June 2023.

“I think Poch [Mauricio Pochettino] can probably do more with the Manchester United team than he can with the PSG team,” Owen said on BT Sport.
“The PSG team chose itself, but can you shape them into a winning team?” I’m not certain. With Manchester United, I believe you can.”
“Poch is an intriguing character. Manchester United could have had him for free a few months ago, but now they will have to pay a fortune to get him out of PSG, and nothing at Manchester United has changed.”
