Rio Ferdinand, a Manchester United star, has advised Chelsea’s board to pay Antonio Rudiger everything he wants in order for the German defender to stay at Stamford Bridge.
Ferdinand made the request after another outstanding performance by the Germany international in Saturday’s 3-0 triumph against Leicester City.
With a wonderful header from Ben Chiwell’s corner kick, Rudiger put the visitors ahead, while N’Golo Kante and substitute Christian Pulisic also scored for the west London side.

Chelsea are reportedly unwilling to meet Rudiger’s demands, but Ferdinand said, “Well, I think they’ve got to compensate him so he feels like he’s getting paid what he feels he should be, which is at the upper echelons of the squad,” on BT Sport.
“I believe he sees himself as a part of the highest earners wherever they are.” If you were to look over this squad of players you wouldn’t want to lose for a few weeks or games, he’d be one of the first names on your list of players you’d want to keep.
