The Lagos State EndSARS panel report has prompted Alloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, a pro-Biafra agitator, to respond.
According to Ejimakor, the report exonerated Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, of any involvement in the protest, despite claims by the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
Malami had accused Kanu of ordering IPOB members to burn down the palace of the Oba of Lagos, according to Ejimakor.
Malami claimed that the IPOB leader hijacked the anti-SARS demonstration.
He claimed that the pro-Biafra agitator used the EndSARS protest to cause chaos, resulting in the deaths of security agents.

Kanu, according to the AGF, seized the protests by making subversive and inciting statements.
However, Kanu’s hijacking of the protest was not mentioned in the Lagos EndSARS Panel report, which was released earlier this week.
Ejimakor retaliated by accusing Malami of failing to mention those who were killed during the protest.
“The report exonerated my client, Nnamdi Kanu, and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB,” Ejimakor said.
“If you recall, the Attorney General issued a press release on October 22, a day after the last two hearings, after which my client pleaded not guilty to the seven amended charges, in which he reeled out very wild allegations that were not on the amended charges.
“One of the main charges he levelled against Nnamdi Kanu was that he was a ringleader in the anti-SARS protest. He claimed that Kanu sent his IPOB members to set fire to the Oba of Lagos’ palace.

“Malami levelled numerous allegations against Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB in relation to EndSARS, but remained silent on the massacre of innocent civilians.”
“Now, this report has confirmed that as many as 11 innocent citizens were massacred.” I received a copy of the report and read it. Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB members have not been charged in any way.”
