The spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling All Progressives Party, APC, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has warned the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party, LP, to stop inflaming the political atmosphere with comments regarding the Saturday election that has not yet been announced.

Keyamo warned opposition supporters to be wary of remarks that could spark post-election violence in a statement made public on Sunday.
To uphold the peace agreement they signed prior to the presidential election, he pleaded with the PDP, LP, and other parties.
Keyamo pleaded with all parties to refrain from intimidating INEC as it carries out its constitutionally mandated duties.

He urged the communities and international observers to remain focused.
“We have all waged a fierce and aggressive campaign. Nigerians have considered our advice and made their decisions. As the results are announced, it is time to listen to Nigerians’ voices rather than our own. The Independent National Electoral Commission is the entity that has been officially designated to represent Nigerians’ voices. They cannot be intimidated by a Party’s threats to carry out its will. The revolting antics of the opposition parties won’t intimidate the APC into silence, he added.
