El-Rufai paid a visit to the Plateau to express his condolences following the attacks
Gov. Nasiru El’ Rufai of Kaduna State has paid a visit to Plateau to express his condolences to the government and people of the state over the loss of lives and property in recent attacks.
Mr. Doman Wetkum, Chief Press Secretary to Plateau Deputy Governor, Prof. Sonni Tyoden, released a statement on El’Rufai’s condolence visit to the Plateau on Sunday.
During the visit, the governor of Kaduna state stated that the rule of law is essential to the survival and stability of any society.
He claimed that Kaduna and the Plateau were not only neighbors, but also faced similar violent experiences on a regular basis.
The governor stated that Kaduna and Plateau would collaborate by sharing ideas that would aid in the fight against insecurity in both states.

El-Rufai praised Gov. Simon Lalong’s unwavering efforts to restore peace to the Plateau and prayed for the souls of those who had passed away.
Tyoden thanked El-Rufai on behalf of Lalong for sympathizing with Plateau people during their difficult times.
Tyoden bemoaned the state’s and nation’s current security situation, calling for concerted efforts to improve the situation.
