Ekiti State Government has stated it has begun investigation into the circumstances surrounding alleged lock-up of pupils of a private school in Ado-Ekiti over non-fee of tax.

Officers of the state income service had allegedly sealed off a non-public nursery and first college and prevented pupils from leaving for his or her properties after closing.

A video clip, which went viral on social media platforms yesterday, gave a pictorial proof of how the principle gate of the varsity positioned at Basiri, Ado-Ekiti was sealed off, with kids left inside the varsity until nightfall after they’d closed at three:30pm.
