EFCC Nabs 59 Suspected Online Fraudsters in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday arrested 59 suspected online scammers in Abuja.

The commission’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, made this announcement in Abuja.

According to Oyewale, commission agents captured the suspects at Abacha Road in Nasarawa’s Mararaba axis.

According to him, the arrest followed reliable information that they may have been involved in fraudulent online activity.
He said that the panel had found 73 phones of various brands and that the culprits would shortly face charges.
