Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar, the managing director of Galaxy Backbone Limited, has urged his organization and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to cooperate actively in the areas of training and cyber security.
On Monday, March 27, 2023, he called from Abuja while paying Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa a courtesy visit at the EFCC’s corporate headquarters.
Abubakar stated that his organization was interested in exploring opportunities for cooperation with the EFCC in the areas of data storage, cyber security, and employee training.

He said, “I believe organizations like the EFCC would want to explore using our training, particularly information communication technology, ICT, training, to train their personnel to keep them up to date on the current cyber security challenges.
He commended the EFCC for its accomplishments and successes since the Chairman took over as the Commission’s leader.
“I’ll start by congratulating the Chairman on his accomplishments and victories since being named the Executive Chairman of the Commission.
The government made a wise choice in appointing a pioneer cadet of the Commission to lead the EFCC.
In response, Bawa claimed that without utilizing technology in its day-to-day operations, including case file management systems, human resources management, and the creation of a corruption reporting application, Eagle Eye App, among others, the EFCC could not have achieved the successes mentioned.
Without utilizing ICT, there is no way that we could perform this kind of work here… Creating software that might eventually render us paperless is one of the things we have done, the man said.
