Unidentified gunmen destroyed Uburu and Okposi communities.
On Thursday night, three cars caught fire and an innocent passerby was injured in the shoulder.
In a phone interview, Ebonyi State Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Onome Onovewakpoyeya confirmed that the assailants mercilessly wreaked havoc in Uburu and Okposi Communities.
The Police PPRO stated that the police command will bring the perpetrators to justice as investigations begin.
An eyewitness told this newspaper that the chaos began around 10:00 PM.
He said Rev. J Odii’s compound in Okposi Okwu, Ohaozara LGA, Ebonyi state, burned two of the three vehicles.
The command knows about the attack and is pursuing the fleeing suspects. Two cars, including a Sienna, burned. The Police PPRO said the shoulder-injured passerby was hospitalised.
