DSS arrests impersonator for forging of official letterhead and signature

The Lagos office of the secret police is thought to have created the arrests while exploring the forging of their official letterhead and signature of the Speaker and utilizing same to supposedly defraud unsuspecting people and organizations from the nation.

Findings revealed that at one particular action, Adenuga had introduced one woman, Aminat Oluwabukola Jimoh, to Messr Caverton Helicopters in the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. The correspondence, which was obtained by Caverton Helicopters on April 20, 2021, was composed on April 15 and addressed to the managing director of this airline. It carries reference variety Nass/ FAG/REC/001. The letter reads partially,
“I write to present and urge Aminat Oluwabukola Jimoh who’s looking for employment in your organization.

“She’s a self-motivated and imaginative person and I am certain that she’d be of fantastic advantage to your institution if given the chance.
“Kindly provide her program particular consideration for the employment.

It was assembled that before fortune ran out on Aminat Jimoh and her accomplice, Olalekan Adenuga, the Speaker’s Office at the National Assembly had received many complaints regarding unidentified persons, who composed organizations and agencies, claiming to be the Speaker, his aide, and producing all manner of requests against the bodies.

Operatives of the control were stated to have acted on the petition, which finally resulted in the arrest and identification of Adenuga, among the prime suspects, while the DSS are thought to be on the road of additional suspects.
