Dr. Mike Uyi, President General of the Global Peace Movement International in the United Kingdom, has praised Air Peace Chief Executive Officer, Chief Allen Onyema, and his entire management team for handling the standoff between the Kano Emirate Council and Air Peace management in a friendly manner.
Allen Onyema has continued to make the nation proud by the way he has handled the airline-Kano emirate crisis, according to Dr. Uyi in a statement released in London on Tuesday.

Onyema, he claims, is a man who values traditional institutions and loves his country.
“It is no longer news that certain individuals in the country have always wished and desired that the country end up in a civil war with the North instigating the war against the South.”
“However, they were disappointed once more when Onyema rose to the occasion as a true Nigerian who had always preached PEACE throughout his life.”
“Chief Allen Onyema’s decision to toe the line of peace is to be applauded.”
“The Emir of Kano is our father, and we respect him and the position he held in the emirate, GPMI warns that there is no rift between Allen Onyema, Air Peace, and any member of the emirate, and there will never be,” the statement reads.

While praising Onyeama, the group stated that they were not surprised because he had previously evacuated Nigerians from South Africa.
The GPMI also expressed gratitude to Air Peace for its assistance in evacuating Nigerians from Ukraine.
GPMI encourages other Nigerians to follow Chief Allen Onyema’s example of maintaining peace at all times.
