Doris Chima, popular Nollywood actress, is dead

Doris Chima, a popular Nollywood actress, has died.

She died following a battle with breast cancer, according to reports.

According to reports, the actress was diagnosed with the disease in 2020 and had her breast removed to prevent additional damage.

Emeka Rising Ibe, Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, confirmed her death on Monday.

Ibe, who was saddened by the passing, described the dead as a loyal member and a good woman.

“She phoned me last week and pleaded with me not to remove her from the verification exercise I was conducting in Lagos to determine legitimate members of the guild,” he explained.

”I got a call yesterday morning saying she had died. Despite the fact that I have yet to visit the family, it is a significant loss for us. I pray for her soul’s tranquility. Amen, may her soul rest in peace.
