Michelle Abesin, also known as Michelle, a rising Nigerian disc jockey, has spoken up about her near-death experience.
On November 20, it was claimed that the aspiring entertainer was rescued after nearly drowning at an unnamed Lagos beach.
She had gone to the beach with her sister and friends to have a good time.

The 21-year-old woman, speaking for the first time about the incident on Saturday night, claimed the last thing she remembered was being swept away by the sea.
The disc jockey thanked God for keeping her alive and expressed gratitude to the man who rescued her.
“First and foremost, I’d like to thank God for keeping me alive until this dry and allowing me to write this on my own,” she wrote on Instagram.
“On November 18th, I experienced a near-death experience that drastically transformed my life.

“The last thing I remember is being dragged away by water.” I’d like to express my gratitude to the man who saved me, as well as everyone who has and continues to reach out to me.
“There have been a lot of phony pages and accounts spreading rumors and disseminating false information. I’ll ask the people to ignore anything since it’s not from me.”
