Dismissed Kano SSG Vows to Reveal Secrets About Government,, Political Figures

Abdullahi Bichi, the recently fired Secretary to the Kano State Government, has accused political leaders of treachery and dishonesty and threatened to release what he called “explosive evidence” against them.

The statement was made by Bichi, who was ousted from power in December 2024, after he returned from Saudi Arabia.

In a widely shared video on Thursday, he spoke to his followers and charged them with treachery and dishonesty.

“Let me be clear: now is not the ideal moment to discuss, but I’m glad I left the office without incident. We will expose them when the time is perfect.

Bichi stated, “I have voice notes, videos, and documents that will show everyone who they really are.”

Due to his suspension from the New Nigeria People’s Party on October 14, 2024, the former SSG’s tense relationship with Governor Abba Yusuf and his mentor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, became public knowledge.

Bichi said his proof would show the inner workings of their connection, calling the leaders “masters of betrayal.”

Political analysts and Kano locals are speculating wildly about this development.

Many are anticipating how Bichi’s threats would alter Kano’s political climate if he follows through on them.

Bichi was charged with planning an attempt to cut Yusuf’s connections to Kwankwaso’s political power.

He was then expelled from the party alongside Muhammad Diggol, who was the Transportation Commissioner at the time.

In announcing the suspension of the two government officials, State NNPP Chairman Hashimu Dungurawa stated that the party had received numerous complaints from the party’s ward and local government leadership.

The two officials were suspended for disdaining the party and its leadership, according to Dungurawa.

“The party cannot accept behavior that compromises its structure and leadership,” he said.

“We have no choice but to take this strong action after receiving official complaint letters from their wards and after the local leadership has confirmed the claims.

“The allegations were further confirmed by the Kano North NNPP leadership, led by Sulaiman Dambatta, which ultimately resulted in the decision to suspend both officials.”
