Death Rumour: ‘They Placed My Head on Another Body in Hospital’ – Bob Manuel

Following the spread of false information about his death on the internet, veteran Nollywood actor Bob-Manuel Udokwu has spoken out.

He reportedly disclosed that his kids were the ones who promptly alerted him to the phony news before he did.

In an interview with the With Chude Podcast, Udokwu clarified that the false report featured a Photoshopped picture of his head resting on the body of a patient who was in the hospital.

He had died, according to the made-up tale.

In order to produce the image, he said, he edited some of his previous photos, placed them on the body in the picture, and then disseminated the word as though it were authentic.

Udokwu was frustrated by the state of affairs, but he also noted that his kids told him it would be better to ignore the rumors than to seek retribution by not going to the police or the DSS to find out where the false information came from.

According to him, his kids were the first to see the news and came to inform me about it.

When they found a body on a hospital bed, they took my head and put it on it. Using some of my old photos, they pasted them in the appropriate locations and claimed that I had passed away.

My kids, especially my daughter, advised me against calling the police or the DSS in order to track down the guilty party and hold them accountable. I should just leave it alone, they said.
