The deadly coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, has been confirmed in 110 new cases in Nigeria.
On Monday morning, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the case on its official website.

The 110 cases were reported from 12 states: Lagos (27), Katsina (23), Rivers (20), Ondo (11), Kaduna (9), FCT (6), Oyo (6), Plateau (3), Osun (2), Ekiti (1), Gombe (1), and Zamfara (1), according to the NCDC (1).

The total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 214,092, with 207,254 discharged and 2,976 deaths recorded.
