COVID-19 dead cases drops 17 percent globally: WHO

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has reported a decline in COVID-19 cases globally.

The UN agency said that there was a 17 % drop in contrast with last week.

On Friday, Director-General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, additionally stated the variety of deaths had decreased.

“This is the fourth week of declining cases. The variety of deaths additionally fell for the second week in a row, with 88,000 new deaths reported last week,” it mentioned.
