The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national secretary Samuel Anyanwu’s post has been ruled vacant by a federal high court located in Enugu.

In a motion notice submitted by a certain Nwabueze Ugwu, the court issued an order recognizing Sunday Udeh-Okoye as Anyanwu’s substitute, as suggested by the South East Stakeholders.
Judge C.O. Ajah, who issued the order, stated that the plaintiff had complied with all legal criteria in filing the motion. In addition, he had the PDP National Chairman, National Secretary, and Deputy National Chairman South East, the defendants in the lawsuit, accept the recommendation while it was being decided.

The petitioner deposed an affidavit, which contained 23 paragraphs that the court observed supported the motion.

The hearing on the subject has been postponed until October 30.

Remember that in order to give Anyanwu more time to concentrate on his campaign and the election, the Southeast PDP stakeholders in Enugu State recently decided to endorse him as the party’s governorship candidate in the Imo State election scheduled for November 11 and to appoint Sunday Udeh-Okoye as the new national secretary of the party.
