The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, spoke at the AIG Public Leadership Program Class of 2021 closing ceremony in Abuja yesterday.

“Today, you see civil servants stealing millions and billions of naira meant to build roads, provide electricity, water, education, food, and transportation, to the detriment of the majority of Nigerians,” Sanusi says.

“All of these have given birth to Boko Haram, killer herders, bandits, and numerous arms conflicts, particularly among the youths, resulting in the gravest threats to human life across Nigeria.”
