Charly Boy to Tinubu: You didn’t inherit a dilapidated Nigeria

The veteran entertainer, Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy, has disputed recent claims by President Bola Tinubu that he inherited a dilapidated country from former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Charly Boy, who is also known as Area Fada, was reacting to excuses by the Presidency that Tinubu’s inability to fix Nigeria is because the economy was in a very bad shape at the time he took over power.
In a post on his X handle on Monday, Charly Boy listed reasons why he thinks Tinubu and the Presidency are lying to Nigerians.
He wrote:
