On Saturday, Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje hinted that Presidents of the Niger Republic, Cameroon, Tchad, and Central Africa have expressed interest in patronizing the multi-billion naira Kano Dry Port, which is set to open soon.
Malam Abba Anwar’s statement, which was made available to the media. His principal, it was explained, dropped the hint while on an assessment tour of the facility on Friday night.

Sahabo Abubakar Bawuro, Chairman of Dala Inland Dry Port, and Ahmed Rabi’u, Managing Director, conducted a facility tour of the signature project, according to Malam Anwar.
According to Anwar, Ganduje said:
“All of the Presidents of the Niger Republic, Tchad, Cameroon, and Central Africa have expressed an interest in using Kano Dry Port for their imports and exports,” says the statement.
He emphasized that all of the neighboring countries agreed to travel to Kano and send officials to discuss the new Dry Port’s operating procedures with the authorities before it opened.
According to reports, Ganduje described the port as “the largest in the country.”
President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment in the state.
He acknowledged that his (Buhari’s) dedication and seriousness demonstrate his desire for the state to recover economically, “…as a commercial hub for Northern Nigeria and some neighboring African countries.”

Ganduje also urged the Port’s future managers to ensure that everything is done digitally, saying, “We live in a digital world.” As a result, you must ensure that you comply with the digital demand and operate in accordance with global best practices.”
Governor Ganduje expressed his satisfaction with the contractors’ and consultants’ progress and commitment.
