President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno State, on his 55th birthday.
On September 2, Shettima, who is now a senator, turned 55 years old.
According to Garba Shehu, the president’s media aide, he has been one of Nigeria’s success stories “since the beginning of the recent democratic journey.”

“I am proud of Shettima for his achievements in office as one of the best governors in the country for the All Progressives Congress (APC),” Buhari said.
