The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND has threatened to descend into ‘Dragon War’ if Delta state is ever assaulted by Fulani gunmen.
In a letter titled, ‘Response to Fulani danger to Okowa on open grazing ban by the Southern Governors’, the group stated it will ruin every facility in the region owned by a Fulani individual.

“We are warning that in case your threat was designed to come to fulfilment, no Fulani will ever exist throughout the Niger Delta and all of the oil centres linked to some Fulani is going to probably be brought down.”
“If a soul is lost, 10 Fulani souls will cover it. If one facility is ruined, 10 Fulani facilities will probably be destroyed. We’ll respond proportionately 10 times anything you provide, the corresponding answer won’t be restricted to the Delta.”
Spokesperson for the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, Mr. Ken Robinson described the development as ‘Stupidity taken a lot’. In his words”Let’s try it and watch. The results will be too grave for all the nation.
“Any attack on any community in Delta country is an attack on the entire Niger Delta, and we will respond appropriately. Nigeria will not ever be the exact same again if they attempt it.”
“But I believe that is taking their stupidity too much better. Their erroneous arrogance is being tolerated for a long time “ng time”
