Along Birnin Gwari Road in Niger State, terrorists kidnapped ACM Shuaibu Umar Bashir, a member of the Nigerian Air Force.
From family sources, SaharaReporters learned that the terrorists also sought N10 million in ransom from the officer’s relatives within three days.
ACM Bashir was reportedly abducted by the terrorists while he was returning to his post to resume his duties.
“The military and NAF officials have declined to communicate with his family. To continue his duties, he was returning to his post. He had been sent on a mission to Niger State. But a family source claimed that he was abducted on Birnin Gwari Road in Niger State.
Another insider stated, “He was taken on Sunday, and it doesn’t seem like the military is doing anything to free him.
Regarding the officer’s kidnapping, the NAF has not yet issued any statements or released formal reactions.
