According to reports, Saidu Adamu, the Media Director of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Committee in Kaduna State, was arrested by agents from the state’s security apparatus.
Reports indicate that Adamu, a former Commissioner in the state, was arrested along with two other prominent young people, namely El Abbas Muhammed and Talib Mohammed.
It is currently unclear what crime led to the arrest of all three of the individuals.
Shehu Sani, who served in the federal legislature in the past, has confirmed the new information. The outspoken politician made accusations that members of the opposition were subjected to harassment and intimidation.
“Yesterday (Tuesday), in the state of Kaduna, security agents have arrested the Media Director of the State PDP campaign Committee, Hon. Saidu Adamu, who is a former Commissioner.
“They have also arrested two youth leaders, namely Talib Mohammed and El Abbas Muhammed,” you said. On Wednesday, he wrote on his verified Twitter handle that security agents in Kaduna should allow free elections.

He continued by saying, “Attempts to use security agents in order to intimidate and harass members of the opposition because of the 11th of March Governorship election will not be tolerated.” This was in reference to the fact that the APC had lost the election in Kaduna on the 25th of February.
Mohammed Jalige, who serves as the police spokesperson in Kaduna State, did not pick up or return any of the calls that were directed to him. Additionally, as of the time that this report was being published, he had not responded to our SMS yet.
