The club has confirmed that Lionel Messi and three other PSG players have tested positive for coronavirus.
Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico, and Nathan Bitumazala have all been infected with the virus and are being held in quarantine.
Messi has appeared in PSG’s last six Ligue 1 matches, as well as their Champions League Group A wins over Club Brugge and Manchester City.

The 34-year-old, along with Bernat, Rico, and Bitumazala, will miss Monday’s French Cup match against Vannes, but may be available for next Sunday’s match against Lyon, pending a negative test.
Fully vaccinated people in France who test positive for coronavirus will only have to isolate for seven days starting Monday, regardless of which coronavirus variant they were infected with, and will be able to leave quarantine after five days if they show an antigen or a negative PCR test.
On Saturday, France reported 219,126 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in a 24-hour period, the fourth day in a row that the country has surpassed 200,000 cases.
Messi joined PSG from Barcelona in August and has six goals in 16 games for the Parisian club in all competitions.

The Ligue 1 club also provided an update on Neymar, who is currently in Brazil recovering from an ankle injury that has forced him to miss eight games for PSG.
His return to training is still set for “about three weeks.”
PSG leads Ligue 1 with 46 points after 19 games, 13 points ahead of Nice in second place.
