Nnamdi Kanu, chief of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari has by his comment on Thursday, supported the creation of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, by the Indigenous People of Biafra.
Nnamdi Kanu and his group had set up the security network to help counter the criminal activities of guessed Fulani herdsmen from the South East and Southsouth areas of the country.

On the other hand, the government is against the illegally recognized outfit and struggling to finish its activities from the regions but Kanu noted that Buhari, which appeared on Arise TV, Lagos State on Thursday affirmed the ESN.
During the exclusive interview, President Muhammadu Buhari had said it was erroneous for Governors to sit idle anticipating him to stop the activities of killer Fulani herdsmen in their states.
And reacting to the, Kanu tweeted,”…Buhari alters the duty of stopping terrorist herdsmen to Governors, it confirms that our assertions which Nigeria is now a failed state. Additionally, it supports #ESN as a self-defence force to secure our people.”
Meanwhile, the Buhari has pledged his government would organize the military and police to deal with IPOB in the language they understand.
Speaking on Arise Television, Buhari said security agents would go.
“These folks are dispersed everywhere with everything and businesses. They know what they are talking about, anyway, we stated we will treat them in ways they know.
“We will organise the military and authorities to pursue them,” he explained.
