Apply: INEC Starts Hiring Ad-Hoc Staff for Governorship Elections in Bayelsa, Imo, Kogi

Abuja, FCT – The start of the Ad-Hoc Staff recruiting process for the impending off-cycle governorship elections in the states of Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi has been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The election committee announced that registration would be open for five weeks.

Registration for ad hoc personnel begins on August 32. According to INEC, the registration period for interested Nigerians on its website will begin on Thursday, August 31, 2023, and end on Monday, October 2, 2023.

He said that the commission’s meeting on Tuesday in Abuja led to the list’s acceptance. For the elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo, INEC produces 11,355 BVAS. In relation to the November 11 governorship elections in the states of Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has issued a firm commitment. A senior commission official, who requested anonymity, said the commission would make sure the gubernatorial elections are free, fair, and legitimate.

To authenticate voters in the states, the commission said that it would deploy 11,355 Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines.
