The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has resisted the “effort from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to frustrate the aspiration of both Nigerians” in finding an answer to bitterness and financial hardship in the nation.
It explained APC’s condemnation of southern governors’ place on ranching, devolution of forces and state authorities as unlucky.
In a media briefing in Abuja yesterday, the PDP National Publicity Secretary,” Kola Ologbondiyan, noted that”the PDP governors, as patriots, right discussed the head of the vast majority of Nigerians across the board, in proffering pressing measures that would finish acts of terrorism and wanton killings in our nation, in addition, to ensure that the national unity and financial well-being of Nigerians.”
The opposition party said the APC had crushed these noble ideals of good government in the
“By criticising the PDP governors’ meeting and communiqué, the APC, as a celebration, has showcased its collapse in directing the ship of the country on the ideal path, thus pushing our nation towards a state of anarchy,” explained Ologbondiyan.
He pointed out that APC’s activity also affirmed the overall belief that it had lost contact with reality and as such no more in sync with all the fears, anxieties and aspirations of Nigerians.
As stated by the opposition party,” finding answers to the myriad problems plaguing Nigeria under the view of APC and President Muhammadu Buhari has resulted in a critical national call which needs the collective actions whatsoever.”
PDP also expressed stress from the silence of the Federal Government within the burning of offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) throughout the Nation.
Ologbondiyan stated the silence was questionable.
According to him, it’s surprising that although no fewer than 20 INEC offices happen to be burnt nationally, the APC-led Federal Government isn’t saying anything about that.
The PDP said it supposed the APC may be supporting the arson to make an emergency scenario and stall the 2023 polls.
“nearing the 2023 election, we’re concerned as a celebration the APC-led Federal Government is quiet regardless of the burning and strikes on INEC offices.
“We’re doubtful the APC, with neglected Nigerians and realising it cannot win following elections, accounts for this insanity, since it’s focusing on developing a crisis situation to stall following elections,” he explained.
