According to Mr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, national vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) (South-East), the party is prepared to win Anambra and every state in the zone, just like it did on Saturday.
This is all happening while Governor Hope Uzodimma is being tasked with leading an inclusive government by the Imo Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC), which also congratulated him on his victory.
Arodiogbu stated to reporters in Owerri that the party was making a lot of effort to take over all of the South East States.
He congratulated Uzodimma on his win, but he also revealed that the APC was doing all in its power to seize control of Anambra State and other states in the Southeast.
Ndigbo were urged by the APC zonal vice chairman to reject regional prejudices and join the party in order to influence national politics and the administration and to stay politically engaged.
“Let the Southeast’s people unlock the power at the center,” he declared. And I have every confidence that the South East would receive more support and states under my direction as the APC National Vice Chairman.
He said that the party was willing to offer its support to the candidates of the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), urging them to back Uzodimma in order to realize their aspirations for Imo.

He said, “We call on the electorate to embrace an inclusive government that would provide the necessary framework to fully realize all potentials, as that continues to be a major solution to a dynamic, stable, and development-focused government that would undoubtedly bring the benefits of democracy to the good people of Imo state.”
In an effort to “further deepen our democracy whilst consolidating on our diverse positive visions towards a better, peaceful, progressive, and boisterous Imo state of our dreams,” he urged the other state candidates for governor to lay down their swords and unite behind him.
