Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state claims that governors elected on the APC platform have settled their differences ahead of the party’s national convention on March 26.

This was stated by Mr Sule, the chairman of the convention’s media committee, in a statement signed by Garba Shehu, the committee’s secretary, on Monday in Abuja.

“The party’s leadership, led by Governor Mai Mala Buni, and members of the Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), are working hard to ensure that everyone is included.

“I believe it is the only way to have a successful convention and election victory.” Mr Sule said at the inauguration of the media committee and its various subcommittees in Abuja, “We believe in unity in diversity, and this is the mantra of our convention.”

The governor stated that plans were being made to ensure that the March 26 convention went off without a hitch.

He explained that the committee was divided into subcommittees, each of which had quickly completed their respective tasks in order to deliver a successful convention.

The convention is expected to attract 4,000 delegates from the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to elect new national executives for the party.
