The All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership and all convention organizers have been tasked with ensuring that no competitor feels intimidated during and after the convention.

This was stated in a press release issued by Alameen Sani Muhammad, a Bauchi gubernatorial aspirant, a copy of which was made accessible in Bauchi.

Alameen added that party leaders should create an atmosphere that allows all competitors to succeed, emphasizing that they must not lose sight of the reality that the convention is a litmus test for the result of the next general elections in 2023, and that everyone should be taken along.

The Gubernatorial Aspirant urged all candidates for various positions within the party, particularly the executives, to conduct themselves in a lawful and orderly manner during the convention, as well as those who will emerge victorious to be magnanimous in victory and run an inclusive government so that no one feels aggrieved.
“Let the losers be decent losers who accept loss in good faith, recognizing that there must be victors and losers in all healthy and fair competitions.”
They must remember that fairness and justice are the indicators of success, and that acting differently would not bode well for the party at this vital juncture.

“I hope that the convention will generate individuals of integrity, hard labor, and loyalty, since it is the umpires who will finally create real leaders who have the nation’s best interests at heart, those who will regard the plight of the poor man and confront the nation’s quagmire.”

“I expect the leaders who emerge from the convention to take on the problem of insecurity that has bedeviled our country head-on.”

Leaders who will address the core causes of poverty, economic misery, corruption, and social disdain that have infiltrated the nation’s fabric”

“Our nation needs selfless leaders who will remove and replace the blatant crooks who have committed high-level corruption, those who have mastered nepotism and favoritism in administration. Our nation is on the verge of implosion, and we need leaders who can save it. We must understand that Nigerians are no longer the foolish Nigerians of the past. We have more intelligent masses to send parking, all these vagabonds in government, therefore we must all wake up,” Alameen added.
