APC Chieftain Makes Case for Oshiomhole as Senate President

When it comes to determining who holds such a prominent position in the governance of the country, Edorodion believes that experience and pedigree are two of the most important factors to consider.

He made the observation that the geopolitical zone extending from South to South is in a better position to supply the Senate President given the current political arrangement.
Edorodion stated the following while speaking with members of the press in Benin City: “When Oshiomhole was a labour leader, he did excellently well; when he was a governor, he did excellently well; when he was the National Chairman of the ruling party, he also did excellently well; the people of Edo are fully behind his Senate Presidency.”

Edorodion, speaking on the state of the nation, pointed out that the challenges that lie in wait for the presidency of Ahmed Bola Tinubu are numerous. As a result, he advised the need to exercise caution when selecting members of the Federal Executive Council.

He cited the need to address issues such as poverty and an increase in the cost of living in the country, food security, roads, and electricity as examples of such challenges, as well as unemployment and the development of infrastructure.

In addition to this, he provided the President with advice on the necessity of developing people-oriented projects and policies that would improve the overall quality of life and standard of living for all Nigerians.
