Abdullahi Sule, the governor of Nasarawa State, has presented flags to the APC chairmanship candidates in the Nasarawa West Senatorial zone, urging them to deliver the party.
After campaigns in the five locals that make up Nasarawa West Senatorial District, the governor presented party flags to the candidates in Keffi yesterday.
He urged the party’s candidates in the zone to deliver the party in the upcoming elections shortly after presenting flags to them.
Speaking at the event, some stakeholders from the Nasarawa West senatorial district promised to deliver the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the October 6 local government election.

Several speakers at the event stated that the ruling party’s chairmanship and councillorship candidates will be victorious in the upcoming elections.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu (APC, Nasarawa West), the state’s first civilian governor, has urged the people of the zone to do whatever it takes to help the APC win the local government election on October 6.
He reaffirmed the zone’s earlier declaration that Engineer Sule will be the zone’s candidate in 2023, as no politician from Nasarawa West will challenge the incumbent governor.
Hon Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives, also spoke out, urging the people of the zone to demonstrate their faith in Engineer Sule’s leadership by voting en masse for APC candidates in the October 6 local government election.
Hon Wadada challenged the people of the zone to reciprocate the governor’s leadership style, which is exemplified by the governor’s commitment to justice and fairness, which is attracting opposition members to the ruling party.
Hon John Mamman, the party’s Interim Caretaker Committee Chairman, updated stakeholders on the party’s activities, which included visits to Karu, Toto, Nasarawa, Keffi, and later, Kokona.

According to the party’s state interim chairman, “the scorecard of the APC is good to go” based on the response from the various local governments visited.
